Ninety years of setting stones by hand — and of earning the kind of customers who come back for the next ring, and the one after that.
Elias Marlow could draw gold wire finer than thread. Walter Finch could set a diamond so it seemed to float. In 1931 they split the rent on a narrow downtown storefront and a single oak workbench — the same bench our fourth generation works at today.
Now Clara Marlow runs the counter and Owen Finch runs the bench. Between them they’ll help you choose a first engagement ring, remount a great-aunt’s sapphire, or tell you straight whether the gold at the back of a drawer is worth selling. Nothing is too small to bring in, and nobody here works on commission.
“They reset my grandmother’s diamond, and it looks like it was always meant to be this ring.” — Dana R., Wrenhaven
Reserve a private viewing and we’ll clear the counter for you — or just stop by. Either way, nobody’s watching the clock.
Tell us your budget and your must-haves. We’ll pull a shortlist, size it on your hand, and show you each stone under the loupe.
Bring in heirlooms or pieces you’re thinking of selling. You’ll get a straight answer and a written valuation, free.
Complimentary cleaning, prong checks and polishing for as long as you own it. Most repairs happen right here at the bench.
